TTD to automate Tirupati Laddu Prasadam process soon.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD)  the world's richest temple in the world is planning to automate the 'Tirupati Laddu Prasadams' distributed to the devotees. TTD is importing high-end machinery and equipment from Germany Switzerland and Australia worth Rs 50 Crore to fully automate the Tirupati Laddu making process at Tirumala.

TTD Executive Officer AV Dharma Reddy told reporters that the Reliance Industries has expressed its willingness to denote Rs 50 Crore for the automation process. Tirupati Laddu production process will be automated completely without any manual intervention except providing an oval round shape to Laddus.

It is estimated that the production of 6 Lakh hygienic and tastier laddu prasadams a day. Laddu Prasadams were produced manually for several decades and now the automation process by December end. The automation process is aimed at enhancing both quality and quantity of Laddu Prasadam.During the financial year 2022-23 TTD has estimated to earn an annual revenue of Rs 365 crore through the sale of prasadams.
