TTD has created history by telecasting Board Meeting Live
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Board Meeting was held at Annamiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday. The Meeting was headed by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy discussed on various important issues along with conducting Srivari Brahmotsavams which is going to happen in September and October. For the First Time in the history of TTD, the Board Meeting was telecasted live on Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel with an intention to have transparency about the decisions taken in the interests of Devotees.

In the view of Covid-19 Restrictions, TTD has been decided to conduct Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams which is scheduled from September 19 to September 27 will be observed in Ekantham inside Srivari Temple Premises. Based on the situation an appropriate decision will be taken regarding Navaratri Brahmotsavams which is scheduled in the month of October.
TTD will start constructing Temples at Mumbai, Chennai, Varanasi, Jammu after the COVID situation turns to normalcy. The Temple building activity shall be taken up in respective places by raising funds locally. TTD is also planning to conduct Maha Kumbhabhisekham events at Vishakapatnam and Bhubaneswar soon after the relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions. TTD Board has allotted Rs 4.95 Crore towards building a ghat road for the Vizag Temple.
TTD is also planning to enhance revenue on getting Monthly interests on all Gold and Cash Deposits. TTD Employees are eligible for treatment under Employees Health Scheme which will be covered under the YSR Arogyasree scheme. TTD has already given instructions to officials in providing quality treatment to COVID affected Employees as per State Government Modalities.TTD has already canceled all Arjitha Sevas and for Devotees who booked Udayastamana Seva will be provided VIP Darshan till the situation becomes Normalcy.
TTD is working on New Technology for Solid Waste Management in Tirumala. TTD Board Member Sudha Narayana Murthy came forward to donate Rs One Crore to take up the much-needed process. TTD Board has also discussed the protection of Cow and modalities and soon they will decide on the process to donate one cow to each temple.The Issuance of 3000 Sarvadarshanam Tokens will be resumed at Bhudevi Complex in Tirupati from August 29 as Srinivasam and Vishnunivasam centers are turned out into Covid-19 Care Centers
