Andal Sri Goda Devi Famous Tiruvadippodi Utsavam was observed at Tirumala on Friday. A special Sesha Vastram and Shatari were offered in Purusaivari Tota. This Utsavam is being observed at Tirumala from several centuries. It is followed by the religious discourse of Sri Chinna Jiyar Swamy.

According to legend, Andal Sri Goda Devi has emerged in Tulasi Garden of Tirumala. Sri Anantalwar Developed various gardens in Tirumala. All Pushpakainkaryams will be performed to Lord in these gardens only.

Andal Sri Goda Devi is believed to be the incarnation of Goddess Bhudevi. This Utsavam will be performed every year on the auspicious day of Purva Phalguni Nakshatra in Ashada Shukla Chaturthi.  The Tulasi Garden belongs to the great Vaishnavite of Pandya Sri Vishnuchitta  In Kataka month on this auspicious star and Thithi  Andal Tiruvadippodi Utsavam is being observed in Tirumala.
