Seven Hills. They are named as
Vrushabadri, Anjanadri, Neeladri, Garudadri, Seshadri, Narayanadri and
Venkatadri. The Sacred temple of Tirumala is located on the Seventh Hill
which lies on the southern banks of swami pushkarini. The place where
the main deity of Lord Venkateshwara resides is called as Garbha Griha.
The diety that is there in Garbha Griha is swayambhu i.e self
manifested. The height of main deity Lord Venkateshwara is about eight
feet height. The center of the sanctum beneath the gold guided area is
called as Anand Nilaya. On the top of the gold guided area we can find
Lord Divya Vimana Venkateshwara.

The Main entrance of temple is also called as Maha Dwaram which is of Fifty feet height. It is also called as “Padivaakili ” or “Simhadwaram”. In tamil Maha Dwaram is also called as “Periya Thiruvasal”. On both sides of Maha Dwaram we can find two feet high statues which is made of alloy metal called Pancha Loha. The statues which are best described as the treasures of Lord Venkateshwara are named as Sankanidhi and Padmanidhi. Sankanidhi and Padmanidhi are considered as angels and guardians of Navanidhi. These statues are consecrated by Vijayanagara emperor Achyutha Rayulu, who is the younger brother of the great king Sri Krishna Deverayulu. The height of the main entrance has been increased periodically since 13
th century.

Lord Venkateshwara is also known as Lord Srinivasa or Lord Balaji is referred in Rig Veda. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is managing the temple with the support of Government by appointing Board of Trustees. The Executive Officer is the chief and important person who is managing entire administration. He is assisted by two Joint Executive Officers along with security and vigilance officers etc with all other supportive officers to look after the several wings of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Administration.
