Sri Govindaraja swamy temple
Sri Govindaraja swamy Temple is one of the ancient temples in Tirupati which is about 200 feet away from Railway station and is 1 km distance from Bus station. The Temple premises is very large and at the entrance there is a shrine of Mudalazwars , Udayavar and other deities are found. In the opposite side there is a shrine of Lord Krishna.
Sri Govindaraja swamy temple appears to be the similar kind of Temple which is located in Chidambaram divya desa perumal. The Temple will open at 5.00 AM in the morning with Suprabata seva followed by Viswa Roopa Sarva Darshanam , Thomala Seva and Archana to the Lord Sri Govindaraja swamy. After these sevas Archanantara Darshanam will starts and then Sarvadarshanam continues. At 8.30 PM Ekantha seva will be performed to the diety and temple will be closed at 9.30 PM.

Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple
Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple is also called as Kapila Theertham or Azwar Theertham which is located in the temple town of Tirupati. Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple is located at a distance of 2 km from Tirupati Bus station and is 3.2 km approximate distance from Railway station.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams runs free buses from Tirupati Busstation and also from Tirupati Railway station to Kapilatheertham.Sri Kapileswara swamy temple is open from 5 AM to 8 PM everyday. It is stated in puranas that Piligrims need to sprinkle water on their head or take bath in pushkarini before they are going for Tirumala Darshan. Special Sevas will be performed during festive seasons and Kapilatheertham will be crowded during Festival days. Bramhotsavams and other Sevas will be performed during Sivaratri Festival. Most of the local people will visit on Mondays as it is the auspicious day for Lord Shiva.
Sri Kodanda Rama swamy Temple
Sri Kodanda Rama swamy temple is one of the famous ancient temples located in the heart of the Tirupati city. This temple has a great historical background. It was constructed by chola king in the 10th century and rebuilt in 1481.
Sri Kodanda Rama swamy temple is located at 2.5 km approx from Railway station. The temple is located at 3 km from Bus station and is considered to be at the middle of the Temple Town Tirupati. Opposite to this Temple Sri Anjaneya swamy temple is located. Sri Kodanda Rama swamy temple is located at only 1 Km distance from another temple Shrine Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple.
Sri Kodanda Rama swamy temple consists of Dieties Lord Sri Rama, Lakshmana and Godess Sita Devi. As according to Varaha Purana Sri Rama, Lakshmana and sita devi while returning from lanka they stayed at Tirupati for a while. We can still find the commemorates of Lord Sri Rama’s visit to Tirupati. Visiting times at Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple are from 5 AM to 8.30 PM.
Sri Padmavathi Devi Temple, Tiruchanoor
Sri Padmavathi Devi Temple, Tiruchanoor is one of the most famous and important Local temple in Tirupati. It is located at 5 Km distance from Tirupati bus station and 5 and half kilometers from Tirupati Railway Station. Sri Padmavathi Devi Temple is also called as Alimelumangapuram.
Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi is believed to have come on a Golden Lotus Flower and hence Alar means Lotus, Mel means Top, Manga means Goddess and puram means Village or town and hence it has become Alimelumangapuram.Visiting Times at Sri Padmavathi Devi Temple are from 5 AM to 9 PM.
There is a flexibility to purchase seva tickets in advance or on the same day at the counter. Abhishekam and Vastralankarana sevas will be perfomed to Lord Padmavathi Devi on Friday’s. Kumumarchana seva is a special seva which will be performed daily from 12:30 PM to 4:45 PM. Tiruppavada seva will be performed on Thursday’s and Astadala Padapadmaradhana seva will be perfomed on Mondays. Kalynotsavam seva will also be performed daily on the temple premises. Devotees can participate in Ekanta Seva also.
